In order to quickly and correctly assess the efficiency of your solar panels, it is important to take into account the solar radiation.

In order to be able to calculate in a simple way with data on solar irradiation, it is assumed as an international standard that at "full sun" a power of 1,000 Watts per m² is irradiated on the earth's surface. In other words, one hour of full sunshine produces 1,000 Wh per m² or 1 kWh/m².

Slightly above monthly average

The table below gives an overview of solar radiation (Wh/m²) in Uccle during June for the period from 2012 to 2022. The solar radiation in June 2022 was 160,650.1 Wh/m², which is slightly above the average of the past 10 years (158,296.74 Wh/m²).

The sunniest day of the month was recorded on 14 June (solar radiation 7901.4 Wh/m²), the least sunny on 5 June (solar radiation 1552.9 Wh/m²).
